Being able to deliver outstanding quality is always a difficult and a major challenge for any contract manufacturing provider. As one of our Six Strengths, Quality is continuously stressed as an important factor within our organization that we continuously aspire to improve and achieve even better results. Assel has adopted a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2008.
To ensure the quality of your products, our production area is fully within an ESD and climate controlled environment. Our facilities are additionally equipped with ultra-low humidity storage cabinets, enabling exceptional conditions for MSD (Moisture Sensitive Devices). All MSD components are labelled, documented and carefully controlled by our qualified staff.
Quality Control
Through precise documentation and procedures, we sustain a formalized control process that ensures the quality of every product. Our internal Integrated Quality System is separated into three crucial processes, that step by step aim to build flawless products. All processes are documented, standardized and regularly evaluated for effectiveness and improvement possibilities.

The key rationale behind IQC (Incoming Quality Control) is to prevent entrance of incompatible or faulty material into our warehouse facilities. This type of control enables quick reaction before the planned production and assurance to deliver your product on time. IQC is based on the control of:
• Index
• Compatibility with order
• Packaging
• ESD & MSD packaging
• Visual inspection
• Compatibility with technical documentation
• RoHS and REACH compliance
• Client requirements

IPQC process controls each stage of the assembly process, in order to decrease the occurrence of defects and document the methods of handling in case of such event.
At the beginning of each phase of the production process, the first manufactured product is a subject to visual inspection, where the compliance with client requirements and IPC are verified. As a result of the First Sample Check, the possibility of a serial mistake is being eliminated- creating a reliable production environment.
Furthermore, after manufacturing a single batch, each assembly process (SMT, THT or Final Assembly) undergoes a detailed inspection via Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) or manual vision inspection. Depending on your requirements, we inspect a percentage share (in accordance with AQL) or 100% of the manufactured products. On the basis on your needs we can also provide ICT tests or full functional testing, as well as burn-in tests.

OQC is based on controlling completed products. In compliance with AQL, a randomly selected batch is inspected. Besides the product itself, the control includes packing, as well as the preparation for delivery – all set within client requirements and IPC norms.
